House Leadership: Name white nationalism as the biggest threat to our communities

Just days after a repulsive sign at a West Virginia GOP event insinuated Rep. Ilhan Omar had links to the September 11 attacks, news broke that House leadership will introduce a resolution to address remarks by Rep. Omar that questioned unconditional support for the state of Israel and its policies.

Instead of condemning the strongest threat to our Jewish family—the same white nationalists who continue to threaten Rep. Omar's life—House leadership has decided to silence and intimidate Rep. Omar, though the resolution may not mention her by name.

House leadership have made their priorities clear. They'd rather attack a progressive Black Muslim woman who calls for open debate, speaks out against oppressive Israeli policies, and has the courage to speak truth to power, than address the deadly crisis of white nationalism.

Call House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer to demand they name white nationalism as the strongest driver of anti-Semitism, and the biggest threat to all of our communities.
