With a vote this afternoon to gut broadcast ownership rules, Chairman Ajit Pai and the FCC just removed the last remaining regulations standing in the way of Sinclair Broadcasting Group's Trump TV takeover.
On Monday, two members of Congress sent the FCC's Inspector General a letter demanding an investigation into Pai's favorable treatment for Sinclair. And yesterday, fifteen Senators signed on to a similar letter.
Today's vote shows just how far Pai is willing to go to deliver for Sinclair, but so far, only a few members of Congress have spoken up.
We need to turn up the pressure and demand an investigation now. Ask your representatives to join the call for investigations into Pai's collusion with Sinclair.
